WAY OF THE WAVE
The first time I swam out into the deeper areas of
el océano was the first realization of my own size.
In the centre of a liquid Titan.
The series is based on our roots to deeper connections to Water.
How we ride the tide to surrender to know the Water.
Athletics & Water Sports.
This was my first experience in the environment of water sports, back when I used to go bodyboarding.
I’ve done many sports, yet to be in the centre of a beast, is one of those environments that makes you realise how small you are, yet the connection of your spirit to the Ocean, does not leave.
How does this connect to these pieces?
My first Vision with interaction was after an Ayahuasca ceremony back in 2023.
I was heading back from the ceremony to the Hotel, ready to fly back.
On that night, I fell asleep and woke up into a visionary state,
I was then greeted by a group of Surfers in that Vision.
In the middle of this group gathering of Surfers, who were sat on the floor...staring at me, there was a mentor/coach who was stood in the middle of the group and he was waving at me.
In a bright light white space , as he waved towards me, his hand was illuminated with light.
He said: "Hey Zach"
At the moment, I realised someone was speaking to me.
He then said: "We are just talking about the Ocean, what can you tell us?"
After taking that in,
I replied:
"We need to be careful of the currents"
He said:
"Absolutely, this is why we must always check our surroundings."
This Vision lasted for a moment.
I woke up in the morning, questioning did that just happen.
I held on to the experience, without paying to much attention as I was thinking of the flight times.
After I arrived back to the UK, these Visions came on in my sleep and began to show repeating patterns of interaction.
Waking up in a Vision to be greeted by your name was when I realised people were talking directly towards me.
A complete possibility these are people from the afterlife.
Why Surfers?
I believe there is some higher connection of people who watch us and guide our way when we check in.
There's something about being in the felt moment of the immediate experience and surfing is one of those activities.
My connection to Surfing is the next sport I've been looking more into, even before this Vision even appeared.
There's a lot of things we don't understand.
I was questioning how come I'm being greeted by Surfers.
This is how I've interpreted my connection towards that contact.
I’ve done a lot of previous works with blood, sweat and tears.
